About The Position

This role will have a complete understanding of all material handling, inventory control practices, and reporting operations. They will operate with an extremely high level of professionalism and have the ability to work with the lead, supervisor, and upper management.

Requirements

5+ years of experience
Strong leadership skills
Ability to read work orders/prints
Advanced computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Print reading ability
Ability to problem solve
Knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving
Ability to clearly identify product from package labels
Exceptional attention to detail and quality
Willing to work flexible and overtime hours as needed

Responsibilities

Provide direction to others and represent themselves as a leader.
Operate as Manager when Manager is off floor or not in building.
Have expert understanding of all other material handling roles.
Complete understanding of all other departments, and how to interact with them.
Active communication with employees and upper management.
Locate product, complete cycle counts and make all transactions required to confirm, verify or ensure inventory accuracy and financial accuracy is maintained.
Work directly with project management and project coordinators to expedite customer requests.
Complete and close jobs (gatekeeper), put items into inventory, assign locations, manage excel based reports (e.g., negative report), and manage inventory transfers.
Organize, plan, provide tools and information to prepare shipments for unloading or transit.
Inspect inbound or outbound goods and confirm that paperwork matches actual goods, addressing any discrepancies or damage with a lead or manager.
Work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Complete cycle counts upon request and provide results back to lead or area manager.
Validate BOM’s for accuracy and correct through the CSF process.
Determine method, location, and area of storage and provide data back to lead or manager for inventory transactions.
Complete picking and bin to bin transfers in the ERP system with proficiency and accuracy.
Be responsible for specific tasks or roles as assigned (Receiving/ Shipping clerk).
Operate all lift equipment (may be limited to lower rack heights or lower weight moves).
Scan QR and Bar codes and complete basic pick transactions.
Show proficiency and accuracy in completing picking and bin to bin transfers in the ERP system.
