About The Position

The material Handling Lead is responsible for monitoring material handling personnel, material status, and Altium process adherence related to the safe and effective handling of material and material handling equipment. Responsibilities

  • Direct safe practices of material handling associates
  • Follow and ensure team adherence to all Altium GMPs
  • Understand different material statuses
  • Ensure inventory is properly identified and processed
  • Oversee all incoming inspection processes
  • Assist with material handling studies
  • Support all quality initiatives supporting material handling
  • Verify all quality material quality documentation is completed
  • Work with production to confirm material processing schedule
  • Collaborate with Logistics to ensure inventories are properly tracked and maintained
  • Assist maintenance with equipment PM schedules and upkeep
  • Ensure shift cleaning schedule is properly executed and documented
  • Coordinate with oncoming shift leads
  • Participate in all established and scheduled training courses
  • Support in break coverage across the site
  • Conduct other tasks as assigned by management
