About The Position
This role is responsible for completing daily duties related to inventory processing and receiving. The Material Handler will supply the production area with needed materials from inventory, load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves, and process required paperwork. This position handles all job aspects for material handling and receiving.
Requirements
- Ability to drive forklift
- Experience with inventory processing
- Experience with receiving materials
- Ability to complete required paperwork
- Ability to keep warehouse organized
- Ability to maintain locations for components and finished goods
- Ability to arrange in-plant transfer of materials

Responsibilities
- Process inventory transactions
- Issue material to manufacturing orders
- Complete physical transactions
- Drive forklift
- Keep warehouse organized
- Requisition material for customer and manufacturing orders
- Release components to production
- Receive in materials; load and unload shipments utilizing fork truck
- Keep main inventory shelves organized
- Placing and expediting requisitions for routine supplies, verification, and inspection of incoming materials
- Maintain locations for components and finished goods
- Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedule
- Back up Finishing and Shipping Department
