About The Position

The Material Handler / Inventory Picker / Receiver is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, picking, issuing, and transporting materials throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring materials are available when needed, and supporting a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred; certification a plus.
  • Basic computer and inventory system knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and company values.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Unload and transport materials to designated storage locations.
  • Accurately pick and issue materials for production orders.
  • Stage materials for production and shipping activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions and records.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed.
  • Organize warehouse inventory and maintain proper material identification.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs.
  • Keep warehouse, receiving, and material storage areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
