About The Position
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Inventory Control Handler to support supply chain and manufacturing operations through accurate inventory management, material staging, and warehouse support activities in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, schedules, and inventory documentation
- Basic math and inventory counting skills required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork mentality
- Excellent attendance and reliability required
- Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
- Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment preferred
Responsibilities
- Move and stage raw materials and packaging supplies for manufacturing operations both physically and systematically using scan guns
- Utilize inventory management systems and Excel schedules to determine materials required for staging and production support
- Ensure all production lines are properly staged with required materials prior to work order start times
- Read and interpret work orders and pick lists accurately
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material handling and inventory movement procedures
- Operate forklifts safely while adhering to all established safety measures and procedures
- Utilize radio communication to maintain effective coordination with team members and supervisors
- Properly finish pallets and verify inventory counts for accuracy
- Support FIFO inventory practices and lot tracking systems
- Remove and empty designated waste containers and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility
- Assist team members and manufacturing personnel as needed to support operational efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support food safety, GMP compliance, and pallet management programs
