About The Position

Cummings Electrical is hiring a Material Handler/Equipment Operator for our Integrated Manufacturing facility. Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more. Requirements

Activities related to shipping and receiving of materials
5+ years of relevant equipment experience with proven safety record
Strong computer literacy
Knowledge and experience working with different types and sizes of equipment such as scissor lift, boom lift, forklift, and power skates.
Knowledge of KOJO or other WMS
Experience with Equipment Material Inspections

Nice To Haves

Experience with operating gantry cranes, forklifts, overhead cranes, or other heavy machinery

Responsibilities

Safe operation of equipment is a must; negligent and/or abusive operation will not be tolerated
Support with scheduling with vendors
Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures including safety initiatives
Promptly report any mechanical or safety problem with the equipment in accordance with company procedures
Understand the value of teamwork and communications necessary to operate onsite functions
Perform a daily equipment walk-around inspection
Loading/Unloading of materials and deliveries
Participate in Material Inspections
Usage of power tools to perform routine duties and tasks as necessary
Perform physical duties (lifting, climbing, cleaning of equipment)
Work mostly indoors but still be subject to extremes of temperature and weather (i.e. warehouse environment)
Assist in tasks such as moving or staging materials (conduit, electrical/HVAC equipment) other tasks related to underground electrical installation
