Osmo is headquartered in New York, NY, with a new facility in New Jersey, and offices in Somerville, MA. Osmo is seeking a Material Handler, Fragrance Manufacturing to support our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for staging and moving raw materials and consumables, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring compounders have everything they need to execute production efficiently and without interruption.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, or production environment
  • Comfortable working with chemicals, raw materials, and production equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required in a production setting
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Stage raw materials and consumables in alignment with production schedules and work orders
  • Ensure compounder stations are continuously stocked with required materials to prevent production downtime
  • Help order basic lab consumables (pipettes, bottles, caps, labels) and monitor usage rates
  • Stock, and organize raw materials and lab consumables in designated storage locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct routine cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Monitor material levels and proactively communicate shortages
  • Adhere to safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, PPE requirements, and quality standards
