The Water Spider is responsible for understanding the department’s processes and needs to provide support to assigned department such as tracking down parts, resolving issues, and communicating with team members as well as across different departments. This role involves assisting with production operations, tracking parts, resolving issues, and communicating with team members. The Water Spider may also assume lead responsibilities when needed and participate in continuous improvement events. The role requires the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and perform various assembly-type functions using hand or power tools. Additionally, the Water Spider will utilize information on material gauging and dimensioning, read various measuring instruments, identify maintenance needs on equipment, and work at different workstations as production requires. Maintaining a clean and safe work area and using proper safety equipment are also key responsibilities.
