About The Position

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area. This role involves picking, receiving, putaway, and checking/packing of products. The shift for this position is the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
Minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.
Minimum of six months to 1 year of reach truck experience.
Minimum of six months to 1 year of OP (Order Picker/Cherry Picker) experience.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Good record keeping skills.
Good listening skills.
Accurate measurement capability.
Ability to understand and speak English.
Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
Key order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
Convey picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
Operate various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
Open crates and inspect product.
Apply labels to product according to establishing procedures.
Verify shading of product and place into accurate warehouse location.
Utilize powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received.
Key location of product into inventory control system and place product onto shelves.
Ensure product is placed into accurate location.
Wrap and pack products by hand into boxes for shipping.
Label boxes with packing slip.
Load boxes into conveyor belt.
Verify orders for accuracy.
Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor.
Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
Keep area safe, clean, and organized.
Perform other related duties as required.
