About The Position

Litehouse Foods is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Material Handler II for its Hurricane, Utah facility. Litehouse is a 100% employee-owned food manufacturing company that produces refrigerated dressings, dips, sauces, herbs, and cheese. The role handles and moves materials, fulfills and receives orders, and maintains accurate inventory while following food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards. The position works in a cool, refrigerated environment and may require overtime and weekend work.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Forklift experience preferred; certification will be provided if needed.
Comfort working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
Strong attention to detail and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments accurately and safely.
Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
Follow stacking patterns and pallet configurations that meet quality and safety standards.
Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
Follow Food Safety and Quality policies.
Work overtime and weekends as required.
