Requirements

  • High School Graduate.
  • One year of experience in material packaging related positions.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Possess a forklift license and pass the forklift exam.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Availability to work outside regular hours.
  • Good communication, proficiency in Spanish, and ability to read and interpret English.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Kanban system with materials in assigned areas.
  • Supply materials required for the Solutions areas.
  • Supply appropriate attire for manufacturing area gownings, including hairnets, gloves, shoe covers, and beard covers.
  • Supply appropriate uniforms for the Solutions area locker rooms.
  • At the beginning and during the shift, prepare manufacturing and packaging materials to be used during the manufacturing shift.
  • Verify codes being run on machines within the area to order materials.
  • Source solvents used in the manufacturing area and prepare solvent mixtures.
  • Responsible for completing the manifest for material dispatch.
  • Prepare move tickets for material movement.
  • Prepare requisitions when requesting necessary materials from the Stock Room.
  • Prepare required documents for shipments.
  • Ensure materials are left for the start of the next shift.
  • Ensure plastic and/or cardboard gaylors (recycling) are prepared for packaging manufacturing product.
  • Daily verify material inventories in the PRMS system, process dispatches, and record material removals in the system.
  • Locate materials in designated areas.
  • Complete various applicable forms for the area.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with SOL 6S.
  • Clean and sanitize carts before entering the clean manufacturing room.
  • Generate labels to be used for packaging various materials, including QCF-50 labels or electronic POM labels.
  • Responsible for requesting a wagon for final product shipment.
  • Unload wagon and remove material if necessary.
  • Responsible for inspecting the wagon to be loaded with final product and documenting on the appropriate form.
  • Responsible for loading the wagon with final product, sealing the wagon, and documenting on the appropriate form.
  • Identify retained materials with their respective documents (copy of PRR) and ensure they are moved to the quarantine cage.
  • Responsible for sourcing, preparing, and distributing solvents used in the manufacturing area.
  • Responsible for reporting any defective equipment or situations of damage and risks in their work area.
  • Comply at all times with company rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and EHS Regulations.
  • Actively report health and safety hazards, environmental aspects, incidents, risks, and opportunities in the EHS management system.
  • Participate in the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation, and actions for continuous improvement of the EHS Management System.
