About The Position

As a Material Handler II at GXO, you will support warehouse operations and help provide supply chain solutions for customers. The role involves moving materials and inventory throughout the facility, constructing packaging boxes, picking merchandise, verifying orders, labeling products, and using a handheld scanner. Computer knowledge is also required.

The schedule is a weekend night shift: Sunday through Tuesday and alternating Saturdays, from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The position requires working in warehouse conditions that may be hot or cold and performing physical tasks such as lifting, walking, bending, and handling equipment. Overtime may be needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience as a material handler.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.
