Material Handler II - 1st Shift
About The Position
As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, the Material Handler II contributes to the company’s mission of helping customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. The role supports distribution, warehouse, or supply-chain operations. The position is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The listed pay range is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour; the compensation section also gives an estimated Massachusetts hourly range of $15.85 to $23.77. The work environment includes a warehouse and may involve cold rooms or freezers as cold as -22°F/-6°C, fluctuating hot and cold temperatures, loud equipment or machinery, working at heights, and standing for a full shift. The role requires compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety standards and use of applicable personal protective equipment. Employees must be able to lift 40 pounds without assistance. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of work experience in distribution, warehousing, supply chain, or a related field. Experience using powered industrial trucks, such as order pickers or forklifts, is preferred.
