About The Position

Prepares products for shipment by inspecting, wrapping and boxing, assisting in daily cycle counting, and physically moving stock throughout the day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of work experience.
• Strong comprehension of verbal and written work expectations.
• Able to work independently and within a team environment.
• Experience with power tools.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics costs and decision making.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to meet the expectations of the customer.
• Detail oriented; motivated to provide the highest level of quality.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ship product per FORCE America defined expectations for carriers.
• Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
• Sort/Label product per customers’ requirements.
• Crating products for LTL shipments.
• Assist in cycle counting.
• Restock received inventory.
• Investigate inventory deviations.
• Optimize shelving capacity.
• Provide the stamp of verification for department prior to shipping out or sending to assembly.
• Communicate with team members and other departments.
• Communicate with external providers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Safely operate forklift.
• Other duties as assigned.
