About The Position

The Gund Company has an immediate opening at our St. Louis, MO manufacturing plant for a full-time Material Handler II. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, pulling, and staging materials for fabrication, ensuring inventory accuracy, and handling HAZCOM/HAZMAT materials per guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong forklift skills and a proactive attitude, eager to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Requirements

• 5+ years of forklift operation and material handling in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage processes end-to-end.
• A proactive learner eager to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Demonstrated ability to take a process from beginning to end (from quote to delivery).
• A genuine curiosity and deep desire to become the best (SME-Subject Matter Expert)!

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, pull, and stage materials for fabrication.
• Verify documentation, match packing slips, and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle HAZCOM/HAZMAT materials per guidelines.
• Pull and stage materials based on FIFO and production schedules.
