About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Handler II to join our team in El Paso, TX. This position is based at our facility located at 1 Helen of Troy Plaza. The core hours at 7:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. The hourly rate for this position is $17.88 per hour plus a Variable Pay Plan (VPP) incentive. The Material Handler will provide manufacturing expertise and support in the Storeroom and production area including, but not limited to, allocation of materials, planning, scheduling, verifying, receiving, and shipping with the overall goal of timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton’s quality standards.

Requirements

• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months manufacturing, distribution, or military experience
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Responsibilities

• Pick materials accurately to support multiple orders for production assembly
• Perform inventory and warehouse transactions using AS400 and other complex business systems while maintaining inventory accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve material, inventory, and warehouse related issues with a high level of attention to detail
• Follow established procedures and work instructions to complete assigned tasks and support special projects as needed
• Operate material handling equipment safely and obtain forklift certification through company-provided training
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment by supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
• Comply with Eaton's safety policies and industrial hygiene requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment, while supporting departmental safety objectives and goals
