About The Position

This role is responsible for all material handling needs, primarily picking warehoused parts and delivering them to assembly areas to ensure efficient production. The Material Handler will work closely with production lines to ensure full utilization of people, materials, and equipment to meet customer demand. The position requires achieving company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. The hours for this position are 2:30pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a pay rate of $21.85 per hour plus a $2.50 shift premium and a $1.50 lead premium.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment.
  • Ability to identify and resolve basic problems.

  • 1 year of material handling experience (for Material Handler II).
  • Ability to use advanced troubleshooting within the materials environment.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • 2 years of material handling/warehouse experience (for Distribution Material Handler II).
  • Basic problem-solving knowledge.
  • Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
  • Basic PC knowledge.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Acts under the direction and supervision of the Materials Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.

Responsibilities
