About The Position

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is a national distributor of quality maintenance products serving the fleet maintenance industry since 1958. They are a Great Place to Work-Certified™ company looking for passionate people to join their team. This is a full-time position of 40 hours working Monday through Friday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) at their Arlington, TX distribution center. The role involves performing safe and accurate manual packaging of product, putting away product, and picking orders while meeting defined production standards within the Distribution Center.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED equivalent
One year of general knowledge of distribution/ manufacturing operations.
Average math skills
Effective reading & writing skills.
Problem solving ability
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to spend most of the time standing and walking in a warehouse environment.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform safe and accurate manual packaging of product.
Put away product.
Pick orders.
Package inbound material including assortment kit assembly using package labeling system and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical stapler, and shrink wrapping.
Document packaging activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry.
Pick orders on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment.
Perform cart put away, restocking.
Assist with inventory cycle counts on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment.
