About The Position

The Material Handler will assist with picking, packing, pulling and staging materials for customers. This role involves safely loading trucks using forklifts/pallet jacks and supporting the outbound Logistics department through organization, safety, and maintaining a clean warehouse. The position requires proficiency with basic computer programs for ERP system transactions and RF scanner usage.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience in proven warehouse practices and methods
1+ years of Forklift/pallet jack skills
Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch or crawl
Ability to apply basic math concepts
Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations
Soft skills include, being a team player, detailed communication skills, time management, problem solving and critical thinking

Nice To Haves

Experience with ERP/SAP system
1+ years of experience with RF scanners
1+ year with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse computer software
Ability to work in a fast-paced company environment

Responsibilities

Participate in warehouse setting for staging/loading material by packaging items, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks when needed
Identify, label and stage materials properly through company ERP system for outgoing orders
Maintain company warehouse material through organizing, cycle counting and cleaning designated shipping areas on a regular basis
Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of finished stock in designated shipping area
Follow all company rules and policies
Ability to load outgoing materials and products onto semi-tractor trailers
Coordinate with members of the team to maximize productivity and efficiency within our Logistics department
Other duties as assigned
