About The Position

The Material Handler I is responsible for the movement of various materials and products through a variety of means, including manual sorting and placement. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and accurate flow of products through the facility.

Requirements

Experience in a warehouse or similar production environment is preferred.
Previous experience in manual labor or roles requiring frequent lifting and physical work is strongly preferred.
Strong commitment to safety procedures.
Attention to detail for ensuring proper placement of products.
Reliability and a dependable work ethic.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to perform a variety of physical tasks.
This is a physically demanding role that requires constant standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
You must be able to lift and move materials, which may be heavy, repeatedly throughout the workday.
Requires good manual dexterity and physical stamina for tasks such as minor repairs and manual drying.
Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions and safety alarms in a warehouse environment.
Excellent vision (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus) for operating machinery, reading documentation, and navigating the warehouse safely.

Responsibilities

Ensuring safe movement of products or merchandise.
Reviewing products or merchandise to ensure proper placement.
All other duties as assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
Adjusting to new reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules to meet company needs and business requirements.
Consistent and reliable attendance at work is an essential function of this job.
