Material Handler I - 1st Shift - $20.75/hr
About The Position
This role involves managing the process of moving parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant, working closely with quality and production teams. The Material Handler will maintain a computerized inventory system, reconcile discrepancies, and operate various material handling equipment. They will also collaborate with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification and traceability, conduct fact-finding and problem-solving, and assist with miscellaneous duties. A commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous performance enhancement is expected, along with meeting work schedule and overtime requirements.

Responsibilities
- Manage the process of moving parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant.
- Maintain a computerized inventory system, reconciling discrepancies as required.
- Operate a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Work with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification and traceability.
- Conduct fact-finding and problem-solving as required.
- Assist with miscellaneous duties and projects as directed.
- Responsible for set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area.
- Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
