About The Position

As a Material Handler at Jabil's Monument, CO facility, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient movement of materials within the manufacturing environment. This role supports production by managing material flow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and performing necessary system transactions to ensure smooth operations. Your attention to detail and adherence to processes are crucial for impacting production efficiency and inventory integrity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in materials handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control and material handling processes.
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry and system transactions.
  • Experience using scanners, computers, or ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work within standardized procedures.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all material movement to stock, including dock-to-stock, MRO, PCB materials, floor returns, and system transactions using scanners or computers.
  • Issue materials from stock, including transfers, kits, manual pulls, and highly marketable parts (HMP).
  • Perform accurate system transactions and verify material movements to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct cycle counts as required to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within assigned zones.
  • Support overall material flow to ensure production lines receive required materials in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations as directed by supervision.
  • Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
