This position is for a Material Handler I on the Weekend D Shift, working 12-hour shifts. The role requires demonstrated ability through certification to work in at least one of five specific warehouse areas: RSL OF Dock Utility, RSL OF LTL function, RSL OF Stocking, BLM (391 OR 395) Receiving Warehouse. Responsibilities include preparing items for shipment, loading trucks, receiving and storing products, managing inventory, and operating warehouse equipment. The role also involves participating in continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining documentation, and adhering to safety, GMP, and SOP requirements. Specific duties vary depending on the assigned work center, including tasks like checking in drivers, unloading trailers, palletizing and wrapping freight, picking and packing orders, using scanners, communicating status updates, examining stock, storing materials, and potentially making minor adjustments to products. In the Receiving Warehouse, duties include unloading and inspecting shipments, noting discrepancies, comparing documentation, staging paperwork, putting away bulk pallets, consolidating locations, maintaining allergen separation, picking manufacturing bulk orders, completing related documentation, and performing Oracle transactions for receiving and sampling. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, with active participation in the safety program, adherence to policies, and immediate reporting of incidents. The role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with team members.
