About The Position
This position is responsible for accurately handling inbound, storage, and outbound product for a wide range of clients. The person occupying this position is responsible for checking loads in and out along with verifying products on bills of lading and shipping documents.
Requirements
- One year of warehouse experience
- Forklift experience
- Attention to detail and strong mathematical abilities
Responsibilities
- Move, load, and unload food products, materials, and/or packages by hand, pallet jack, or forklift from trains, railcars, and trailers
- Handle paperwork and use scanners to ship and receive clients’ food product accurately
- Pick orders, select products, and control inventory as necessary
- Transfer data manually and electronically to co-workers and Inventory Control Team
- Monitor warehouse inventory through cycle counts
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse through various assigned sanitation duties
- Follow Safety and Food Safety Polices & Procedures.
