The Associate Material Handler supports daily plant operations, ensuring established targets are met or exceeded. This includes attaining packing schedules, timely and accurate product receiving and shipping, and maintaining an organized warehouse. The role is driven by the knowledge that the products help save and sustain lives, requiring quick movement, addressing questions, encouraging teammates, and ensuring quality products are delivered on time. It's a calm, positive, and key part of a fast-paced environment emphasizing camaraderie and teamwork. The team focuses on manufacturing high-quality, life-saving products, with attention to detail being paramount. The culture is supportive and open, fostering process evolution and workforce engagement.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED equivalent
  • Organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic Computer Literacy
  • Ability to lift 30lbs

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently performs all assigned procedures – including receiving, shipping, distribution, material handling, picking, and goods movement.
  • Professionally and effectively communicate issues to leadership.
  • Willingness and ability to support business needs including overtime.
  • Actively participates in all change management/lean transformation activities.
  • Responsible for assuring safety and quality in all actions.
  • The role, including all day-to-day tasks and responsibilities, should therefore be executed while adhering to all applicable Safety and Quality Management policies, procedures, and requirements to ensure an optimal level of safety and quality in both our products and services.
