About The Position

Perform duties related to picking, distribution and unloading assigned inventories in the warehouse, departments, or offsite facilities. Responsible for supporting Materials Management's mission by providing accurate, time efficient movement of products and supplies. Follows receiving/shipping policy and procedures to ensure accurate receipt of shipments.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) required.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

2 years college preferred.
Experience in inventory control or related experience preferred.
Intermediate or above proficiency with MS Office, ERP, and time management software (i.e. Outlook) preferred.
Working knowledge of Materials Management principles and practices.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and is able to multitask.
Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations.
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict in a positive manner.
Has an awareness of, responds to, and considers the needs, feelings and capabilities of others.
Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and verbal form), clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience.
High level of custom service and communication skills to provide customer comfort and satisfaction.
Forklift experience preferred.
