Requirements

  • High level of attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Previous Material Handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Distributes either production or non-production items and materials to various locations throughout the plant.
  • Operates various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and rolling carts or may move golf car and utility vehicles to and from yard.
  • Scans parts in and out of systems.
  • Maintains the required paperwork and documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures.
  • Ensures work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner.
  • Supports the QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives.
  • Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements.
  • Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provides guidance while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Stocks and arranges product to ensure warehouse turns of inventory.
  • Supports the manufacturing process by receiving and transporting components to the manufacturing floor in accordance with predetermined safety, quality, method and sequence standards.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
