Material Handler I - 2nd Shift - $20.75/hr + $2.00/hr Shift Premium
About The Position
This role involves managing the process of moving parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant, working closely with quality and production teams. The Material Handler will maintain a computerized inventory system, reconcile discrepancies, and operate various material handling equipment. They will also collaborate with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification and traceability, conduct fact-finding and problem-solving, and assist with miscellaneous duties. A strong commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous performance enhancement is expected, along with meeting work schedule and overtime requirements.
Requirements
- High School
- Manufacturing Experience
- Ability to proficiently operate a variety of material handling equipment which may include, but not limited to: forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Ability to work with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification and traceability.
- Ability to conduct fact finding and problem solving as required.
- Ability to assist with miscellaneous duties and projects as directed.
- Responsible for set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area.
- Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria.
- Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
