About The Position

In this role, you will support the receiving, stocking, transferring, and shipping of materials, ensuring correct records and compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and warehouse equipment, completing required inspections before use, receiving containers, segregating materials, and verifying physical receipts against purchase orders, invoices, and the system. You will also record transactions, receipts, deliveries, and material movements in the appropriate systems, identify and label materials, documents, and relevant information according to established procedures, and locate materials in designated areas using defined counting methods to maintain inventory accuracy. Additionally, you will ship materials for production while simultaneously closing the physical movement and system transaction cycle, and report non-conforming conditions, minor inconsistencies, or operational priorities to the supervisor or area leader.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: completed secondary education.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse or manufacturing operations.
  • Basic knowledge of record-keeping or inventory systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs consistently.
  • Ability to use warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, scales, labelers, computers, and radio frequency devices.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or logistics environments.
  • Knowledge in the use of ERP systems (Oracle or AS/400) or inventory tools.
  • Experience in computer use, including Word and Excel.
