About The Position

Caterpillar Remanufacturing is seeking a Material Handler I to support the Reman Drivetrain operations in West Fargo, ND. This role involves performing material handling and warehousing functions for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies. The position is part of a team focused on sustainability and contributing to a circular economy by bringing value back to Cat products.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years job related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to sit or stand as needed to perform essential functions of the position
Ability to periodically walk and/or travel to other areas of the plant and other warehouses as directed
Ability to use keyboard, reach above shoulder height, below the waist, and lift and file documents throughout the day
Ability to perform safe execution of repetitive motions
Ability to repetitively lift and carry up to 35 pounds
Visual and hearing abilities as appropriate for safe execution of job duties, functions and tasks
Physical exertion and effort to safely lift, push or pull components or parts

Responsibilities

Stock and pull parts as well as delivering materials and supplies
Accurately utilizes data collection systems
Performs bin transfer confirmation and confirms all material pulled for production orders
Effectively utilizes software systems
Maintains administrative related records and operates computer to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing
Uses mobile equipment as required to facilitate job functions
Perform preventive maintenance
Assist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes
Perform 5S Audits
Perform Safety Stop Audits observations
Participate in the CI/PID Process
Any duties or tasks that may be assigned to promote cross training or support for various areas of the shop

Benefits

Hourly Pay Range: $20.53 - $26.13
1st shift work hours: 6AM - 4:30PM Monday - Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays
