Job Summary: The Material Handler (Yard) is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the site. Additional Information: First Shift Schedule: 10 days on followed by 4 days off. Regular hours are 8:00AM – 4:00 PM but currently working 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM Overtime required as business required. Compensation: Pay starts at $22/hour and can be adjusted with experience.

Requirements

Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior experience operating a forklift
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department

Responsibilities

Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries
Assist with new orders and cycle counts
Read and understand standard work and risk assessments
Exhibits equipment and product understanding
Counts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement
Assist service operations with pulling and picking parts
Performs other job duties as assigned
