About The Position

This role is repetitive, fast-moving, and focused on preparing products to ship to our customers. The Material Handler is critical to making that happen—they are responsible for bundling and wrapping custom foam fabrication in specific quantity amounts per the customers specifications. They will also be responsible for safely and efficiently operating an industrial forklift to accomplish various material handling assignments.

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is helpful—but not required
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required
• If you’ve done physical, fast-paced work before, you’ll likely do well here

Responsibilities

• Gathers materials to ensure proper order completion
• Pack foam in the proper quantities
• String tie, plastic wrap, or plastic bag materials as directed
• Mark foam or attach labels to packages as directed
• Observing all safety rules and regulations
• Stay organized—keep materials clean, sorted, and easy to access
• Move materials throughout the department safely and efficiently
• Unload and load trucks as instructed and according to schedules
