About The Position

Hadco Metal Trading CO., LLC is seeking an experienced Material Handler with strong math, measuring, and basic data entry skills. The company distributes and supplies metal products for aerospace and commercial markets and utilizes various precision cutting equipment. The role involves operating a forklift or overhead crane, entering work order information, verifying material specifications, packaging orders, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Math and measuring skills including fractions and decimals.
• Forklift experience moving large and heavy material.
• Ability to accurately enter work orders into the company ERP system.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, English preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, reach, and stoop.
• Minimum 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and/or overhead crane to move and deliver material to designated areas.
• Accurately enter work order information into ERP computer system.
• Verify alloy, weight, and count to ensure material pulled matches work order specifications using micrometer/caliper.
• Solve mathematical calculations required on orders.
• Package completed orders.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
