Responsible for efficiently managing inbound and outbound orders, this role encompasses various warehouse functions to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment without air conditioning.
  • Ability to stand for long periods with frequent stooping and bending.
  • Capability to lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Availability for overtime as required.
  • Maintain a good personal record in security.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment/post-offer drug test and background check.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

  • Use Forklift with Clamp
  • Request and review materials needed for production work orders.
  • Prepare and issue materials based on ERP reports.
  • Report material shortages to Production Data Entry Clerk.
  • Notify discrepancies in production requests to Production Data Entry Clerk.
  • Receive, unload, and store materials.
  • Ensure inventory turnover meets established standards (e.g., one pallet at a time from VMI).
  • Order expense items based on min-max numbers.
  • Arrange delivery of required materials.
  • Coordinate and perform cyclical physical inventories.
  • Check for inventory inaccuracies and discrepancies.
  • Ensure complete issuance of Work Orders.
  • Adhere to schedules, training, operational procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Report building or equipment safety hazards to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report any material shortages to maintain an adequate supply.
  • Exercise the due care in the use of materials, equipment and supplies to promote safe and environmental practices.
  • Complete forms as requested by the supervisor (e.g., forklift checks, receiving count logs).
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
