We are currently seeking to hire a Material Handler/Excavator Operator who embodies these values and possesses experience in running these machines.
Requirements
- MORE THAN 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED accurately, efficiently and safely operating excavator/material handler.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in scrap metals and/or demolition is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handler (excavator) with grapple, magnet and/or shear to move, manage and organize metals.
- Appropriately identify, handle, sort and process materials.
- Load and unload trucks with metals in a safe manner with excavator.
- Customer service.
- Perform the staging and inspection of materials.
- Report non-conforming materials.
- Assist with organization of steel yard and make space for new product daily.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance inspections on equipment before operating.
