About The Position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency (“RF”) components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards (“PCB”s). TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market. This role operates a truck to deliver and pick up cargo within a local area serving our processes within our four manufacturing buildings. The schedule is for the 2nd shift, from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Able to use automatic routing or location software.
  • Knowledge of local area and able to read and use maps.
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • Good DMV driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • No experience required. We can train candidates with the essential knowledge and skills.
  • Must be able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.
  • Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
  • Understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL).
  • Understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US.
  • Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years' experience as a delivery driver in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operates a truck to deliver and pick up cargo within a local area serving our processes within our four manufacturing buildings.
  • Observes speed limits and obeys all road signs while making on-time delivery schedules.
  • Records travel and vehicle maintenance information in logs.
  • Operates equipment to unload or load vehicle.
  • Performs simple vehicle maintenance (i.e. cleaning interior and exterior, taking vehicle for state inspections, filling tires with air, etc).
  • Verify cargo is secure and loaded properly.
  • Inspect brakes, windshield wipers, and lights to confirm proper working condition.
  • Inspect fire extinguisher, flares and other safety equipment on truck are in working order.
  • Interacts with customers and vendors to obtain signatures and gives receipt of goods.
  • Assist shipping department with packaging.
  • Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately.
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC.
