About The Position

Under direct supervision, performs various tasks related to accurate receipt, staging, storage, transfer, and delivery of materials by part number and quantity used in the manufacture of golf and utility vehicles. Utilizes various types of material handling equipment to perform job functions.

Requirements

High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
A minimum of 3 years of forklift and warehouse operations experience is required.
Mechanical and technical skills.
Safety management mindset.

Responsibilities

Using material handling equipment, loads and unloads trucks, locates, and picks material into/out of warehouse racks, between locations, and delivers to supported shops.
Safely operates assigned material handling equipment. Ensures that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition. Reports all accidents and unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Determines accurate material quantities by hand counting, use of counting scales, and use of vendor labels on sealed containers.
Uses bar code computers to receive material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/from warehouse locations as required. Ensures accurate part number, quantity, and other data fields entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, location; Resolves discrepancies with material quantities, part numbers.
Locates parts ensuring that pallets are stable, observing pallet heights, material, racking, and equipment are not damaged, and material is not left in aisles.
Consolidates parts by part number within the warehouse as directed.
Complies with domestic and international shipping requirements to include laws, rates, and paperwork requirements for parcel shipments.
Utilizes computer equipment for data entry, data retrieval, and analysis of data to solve work-related problems, and communicate with other associates.
Stages parts from supermarkets into bins and carts per a pull report or other instructions and delivers carts to point of use.
Maintains safe and productive work environment by assuring the work area is clear of items that may present a hazard.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
