The role involves efficiently transporting parts and finished products to various warehouse and plant locations, operating a range of material handling equipment, accurately maintaining paperwork, ensuring work areas are safe and orderly, following 5S standards, assisting in training new employees, stocking products to optimize inventory, and supporting the manufacturing process by receiving and transporting components to the manufacturing floor.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow assembly directions, work order packets, and safety instructions in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.
  • Independently capable of lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical mobility within the work facility, including repetitive bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and/or stooping.
  • Corrected vision that meets the same criteria as required for a valid motor vehicle driver's license.
  • Have coordination between eyes, hands and feet.
  • Have no significant impairment to hearing and reaction time.
  • Be free of known convulsive disorders and episodes of unconsciousness.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently transport parts and finished products to various warehouse and plant locations.
  • Operate a range of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and rolling carts.
  • Accurately maintain and complete all required paperwork and documentation for parts and materials moved in MRP/ERP, adhering to specified procedures.
  • Ensure that work areas and other designated zones are kept safe and orderly, in compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies.
  • Follow 5S standards for area.
  • Assist in the training and instruction of new employees assigned to this area.
  • Stock and arrange products to optimize warehouse inventory turnover.
  • Support the manufacturing process by receiving and transporting components to the manufacturing floor, following predetermined safety, quality, method, and sequence standards.
  • Must be able to work varying hours and overtime as necessary to ensure production demands are met.
  • Perform additional duties as requested, directed, or assigned by management.
