About The Position

This role is responsible for various material handling tasks within the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, stock replenishment, and inventory management. The position requires the ability to operate material handling equipment and maintain a safe and clean work environment. The Material Handler will represent Schluter Systems L.P. professionally and assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements

Must have prior forklift experience
Effective communication, ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) accurately
Prior experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
General knowledge of warehouse procedures
Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative
Ability to lift 70 lbs. climb ladders, and utilize material handling equipment
Good attendance is required

Some previous computer skills a plus

Responsibilities

Unloading and loading trucks
Replenishment of stock
Utilize material handling equipment – forklift, pallet jack, shrink wrapper, etc.
Loading packages onto transportation trucks
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Perform inventory counts
Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.
Complete special projects as directed by management
Other duties as assigned both on and off forklift
Represent Schluter Systems L.P. in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner in all matters
Verifying and confirming product as it is received into the department
