About The Position

This is a 2nd shift position. Monday - Thursday 3:15pm - 1:45am with OT as required. Training will occur on 1st shift for up to 2 weeks. 5am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday. Job Description: Place and retrieve product from appropriately designated areas via forklift and other material handling equipment throughout facilities to ensure that production and customer needs are met. May involve receipt of incoming material/product and may load and unload trucks. Prepare the materials for production by identifying which material is needed and mixing materials to job specifications; measure, weigh, mark, label, count, blend, track, calculate shot weight, record, inspect, verify, package and palletize a wide variety of products or materials. Operate dryers at the correct temperature to prepare raw materials and ensure the correct moisture levels, utilizing the moisture analyzer. Maintain cleanliness of material handling equipment to prevent material contamination. Check forklift and other equipment periodically for proper operation and may perform routine maintenance and cleaning. Responsible for quality of work and appropriately resolve unusual operating conditions. Willingly modifies work schedule and duties to accommodate Company needs. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 6 months of fork truck experience.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-year forklift experience in a warehouse setting
