We are currently seeking a full-time Material Handler Descrambler to join our team in our manufacturing facility. This role works 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week. Requirements

  • Prior certification for driving forklift, electric pallet jack, and hand jack.
  • Must be a team player, willing to help in all areas.
  • Proficient with computer use; familiar with SAP and standard Microsoft Office Software.
  • Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members.
  • Willingness and ability to work with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold).
  • Ability to work safely and multi-task in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
  • Ability to move/lift 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Basic math and reading skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Three months Nestlé factory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Move packaging materials to loading areas using a tow motor or pallet jack.
  • Unload bottle pallets with cases stacked 4 to 5 cases high.
  • Complete all Globe system transactions.
  • Load bottles into the bottle elevator at the proper machine rates (400 to 500 cases per day).
  • Load bottle caps into the cap elevator.
  • Operate the bottle loading equipment.
  • Complete daily PMs & pre-ops.
  • Breakdown cases and recycle in the balers.
  • Assist the Filler Operator as needed.
  • Stack empty pallets.
  • Return all unused materials.
  • Cover all water-sensitive electrical components.
  • Wipe equipment down daily.
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Transport all used equipment to the proper Equipment Cleanup room.
  • Dispose of trash and clean work area thoroughly using chemicals.
  • Remove any unused product, boxes, and utensils and assure a clear and clean work area.
  • Assist other areas with cleaning.
  • Other duties as assigned.
