About The Position

This role is for a Material Handler operating a cherry picker on the 3rd shift (10pm-6am). Responsibilities include operating forklifts, managing warehouse inventory, preparing and loading shipments, and performing general maintenance. The position also involves coordinating with other shifts and supervisors, maintaining accurate paperwork, and ensuring compliance with TS16949 requirements. Housekeeping and other assigned duties are also part of the role, with the possibility of performing work of equal or lower grade for training purposes.

Ability to perform general maintenance of tractor
Ability to complete dock hitch checklist
Ability to warehouse finished goods
Ability to perform inventory control
Ability to rotate stock
Ability to maintain returnables and pallets
Ability to communicate with other shift supervisor
Ability to assure shipments are 100% checked
Ability to deliver dye to presses and return to cage
Ability to maintain dye cage layout
Ability to deliver dryer to press and check dryer
Ability to return dryer and check dryer
Ability to monitor bulk-dryer hoppers
Ability to stock incoming dye
Ability to coordinate P.O.U. stocking
Ability to prepare/maintain accurate paperwork for shipments & receivables
Ability to maintain efficiency
Ability to meet TS16949 requirements
Ability to perform housekeeping duties
Ability to perform other duties as assigned
Ability to perform work of equal or lower grade as directed by supervision
Willingness to train inexperienced personnel

Responsibilities

Complete forklift pre-operational checklist at the start of shift.
Stretch wrap pallets.
Maintain order to warehouse (straight rows and proper aisles).
Inspect pallets or containers for damage or missing labels.
Pull, stage and load shipments as directed by supervisor.
Scan loads and download scanner.
Load finished goods, delivering to shipping and/or designated areas.
Unload trucks.
Load components necessary for line.
Lower down WIP product.
Coordinate and pull trailers in and out of docks.
General maintenance of tractor (refuel, check oil, keep up appearance of tractor).
Complete dock hitch checklist.
Warehouse finished goods as instructed by supervisor.
Inventory control.
Rotate stock.
Maintain returnable and pallets.
Communicate with other shift supervisor concerning problems.
Assure all shipments are 100% checked.
Deliver dye to the presses and return to the cage.
Maintain the layout of the dye cage.
Deliver dryer to the press – check dryer before delivery to ensure it is clean.
Return dryer – check dryer before returning.
Monitor the bulk-dryer hoppers.
Stock incoming dye.
Coordinate P.O.U. stocking.
Prepare/Maintain accurate paperwork for shipments & receivables.
Maintain efficiency.
Meet TS16949 requirements.
Housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
Perform work of equal or lower grade, as directed by supervision that will include training of inexperienced personnel.
