About The Position

We currently have a Material Handler position available in our Jacksonville Distribution Center in Jacksonville, FL. Wasserstrom has NEW MARKET PAY RATES!!! This position is responsible for loading and/or unloading product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platform, picking/put-away/counting product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities, utilizing RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item/quantity/location to pick and/or receive, and operating of multiple pieces of motorized equipment in a safe and proper manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- 1 - 2 years previous forklift experience
Responsibilities
- Loading and/or unloading product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platform
- Picking/put-away/counting product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities
- Utilizing RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item/quantity/location to pick and/or receive
- Operating of multiple pieces of motorized equipment in a safe and proper manner
