About The Position

As our General Material Handler 1, you will ensure that production goals are met and monitor product quality. You will follow instructions given by the machine operator during the production process, effectively communicate with the crew and supervisors, and maintain a neat and organized work environment. You will adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures, move around the department to assist where the workload is, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shift
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 40 pounds
• May be exposed to controlled non-toxic chemical mists or vapors
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and perform basic math
• High levels of attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
