Wages will be increased by 25 cents per hour after successfully completing 90 days of employment. Shifts Available and Hours: Dayshift: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM eastern until 3:00 PM eastern. What you will be doing Safety First: Safety is the #1 priority and a condition of employment. Requirements

  • No High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must meet all minimal physical requirements.
  • High involvement in floor activities.
  • Must be certified forklift operator.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates, co-workers, supervisors, and managers in both written and verbal form.
  • Must be able to understand and follow all instructions: both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to work with other team members and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve wheeled racks and prepare them for loading.
  • Load trains and sheets according to production requirements.
  • Enter materials into the heat treat process.
  • Set ovens to the correct temperature and processing time based on specifications.
  • Ignite and start ovens according to standard operating procedures.
  • Verify oven operation to ensure proper function during the heat treat cycle.
  • Perform hardness checks on unloaded materials to confirm quality standards.
  • Record hardness results and other required data on the production ticket and load sheet.
  • Print and manage production orders as needed.
  • Return LPL to the appropriate rack after processing.
  • Place completed racks in the designated staging area.
  • Operate and rotate ovens as required for production flow.
  • Attach oven charts to the corresponding load sheets and file them according to company procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
