Material Handler 3
About The Position
This role involves moving products from manufacturing areas, warehouses, or other stations to designated areas for manufacturing, packing, or storage. The Material Handler will utilize hand power, hand-operated pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment to move products. The position requires the ability to climb, lift up to 50 pounds, balance, walk, stoop, and lift above shoulders, indicating a need for strong shoulders, knees, and back. Training and certification for sit-down or stand-up forklifts will be provided. The work environment is a food facility, and restrictions on metal or jewelry on the body or clothing apply.
Requirements
- Be able to climb, lift up to 50 pounds, balance, walk, stoop and lift above shoulders – strong shoulders, knees and back
- Working in a food environment – no metal or jewelry on your body or clothing permitted
- Minimum 25 years of age
- 5 years clean driving record in the US
Nice To Haves
- Forklift and Local Light Truck Driver certification
- Previously done physical work, such as restaurant, landscaping, housekeeping
Responsibilities
