About The Position

This is an intermediate warehousing position at Dexcom Corporation, a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). The Material Handler 3 performs various warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control. The role is responsible for the physical and systematic movement of materials in compliance with safety, cGMP, and quality procedures, ensuring timely transactions and accurate documentation. This position may handle raw materials, dangerous goods, WIP materials, finished goods, returned goods, and R&D materials. The work schedule requires flexibility for weekends and overtime, with hours and shifts subject to change. The specific shift is 2A, Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, located at the RDC in Mesa, AZ.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a material handling role.
  • 1 year utilizing Oracle/WMS or 2 years of experience completing transactions in another ERP/WMS system.
  • 1+ year experience operating electric-powered material handling equipment.
  • Basic computer data entry skills.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Broad knowledge of Oracle ERP/High Jump WMS system.
  • Ability to perform intermediate functions in Excel including creating tables, sorting/filtering data, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Completes all warehousing activities including receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control in compliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Performs all activities of a Material Handler 2.
  • Utilizes pallet jacks, stand-up reach trucks, sit-down reach trucks, turret trucks, electric rider jacks, and box trucks to unload/load material and transport it between areas.
  • Obtains and/or has been certified on multiple types of material handling equipment.
  • Performs transactions in ERP/WMS system including shipping, entering cycle counts and material receipts, and shipments.
  • Investigates and resolves shipping or receiving issues utilizing ERP/WMS system.
  • Coordinates inbound and outbound freight.
  • Supports international shipping activity.
  • Cross-trained in multiple functions in the warehouse(s) such as receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Assists in implementing process improvement ideas in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Assists in leading daily team meetings to review team performance and daily workload.
  • Provides hands-on training to new and temporary employees on warehouse functions.
  • Helps assign activities to the team based on priorities set by leadership.
  • Creates and runs basic reports around performance metrics.
  • Investigates and resolves basic customer requests from internal partners.
