About The Position

This is an intermediate warehousing position that is expected to complete all tasks under general supervision. The Material Handler 3 performs a variety of warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control. The position is responsible for completing the physical and systematic movement of material in accordance with all safety, cGMP, and quality procedures. The position is expected to transact all material timely and compile and maintain all required documents for material movement as per quality procedures. This position may work with raw materials, dangerous goods, WIP materials, finished goods, returned goods, R&D materials, etc.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in material handling role.
1 year utilizing Oracle/WMS or 2 years of experience completing transactions in other ERP/WMS system
1+ year experience operating electric powered material handling equipment
Basic computer data entry skills
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
Ability to obtain a forklift certification
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to verbally communicate with leadership, employees, and auditors.
Ability to comprehend spoken language.

Nice To Haves

Broad knowledge of Oracle ERP/High Jump WMS system.
Able to perform intermediate functions in Excel including such as creating tables, sorting/filtering data, etc.
Cross-trained in multiple functions in the warehouse(s) such as receiving, shipping, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

Completes all warehousing activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control in compliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality Standard Operating Procedures.
Able to perform all activities of a Material Handler 2.
Utilizes pallet jacks, stand-up reach trucks, sit-down reach trucks, turret trucks, electric rider jacks, box trucks to unload/load material and transport it between areas.
Able to obtain and/or has been certified on multiple types of material handling equipment.
Performs transactions in ERP/WMS system including but not limited to shipping, entering cycle counts and material receipts, shipments, etc.
Able to investigate and resolve shipping or receiving issues utilizing ERP/WMS system.
Broad knowledge of Oracle ERP/High Jump WMS system.
Able to perform intermediate functions in Excel including such as creating tables, sorting/filtering data, etc.
Able to coordinate inbound and outbound freight.
Able to support international shipping activity.
Cross-trained in multiple functions in the warehouse(s) such as receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
In collaboration with supervisors, assists in implementing process improvement ideas.
Assists in leading daily team meetings to review team performance and daily workload.
Provides hands-on training to new employees/temporary employees on warehouse functions.
Helps assign activities to the team based on priorities set by leadership.
Creates and/or runs basic reports around performance metrics.
Investigates and resolves basic customer requests from internal partners.
