About The Position

This role involves performing physical and administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The position requires unpacking and checking received goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received goods, and rejecting unsatisfactory items. Responsibilities include lifting heavy items, potentially operating a forklift, preparing and maintaining records of merchandise shipped, posting weights and shipping charges, and preparing goods for final shipment. Additionally, the role involves examining, stocking, and distributing materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines, and potentially preparing kitting packages for assembly production. The Material Handler 2 will report to the Warehouse Team Lead and work onsite.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or 1 year equivalent work experience.
Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.

Responsibilities

Sign for and unload incoming packages and freight (courier or truck) using a forklift or pump cart.
Inspect all incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
Accurately receive purchase orders into Epicor in a timely manner.
Print pick lists and kit materials to support the production schedule.
Transfer, issue, and stage materials to ensure production timelines are met.
Maintain and update shortage report.
Transport materials between internal facilities using a company rental truck.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams to support operational efficiency.
Support additional operational tasks as required.
