About The Position

Responsible for optimizing material flow, packaging, inventory, and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This role supports lean production through effective material presentation, packaging design, replenishment systems, warehouse optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging, Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • 3+ years of experience in materials, logistics, packaging, or supply chain engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience working with material flow and packaging systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with data analytics and project management.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP and PLM systems (Windchill preferred).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Logistics, and Kanban systems.
  • Experience designing warehouse layouts, material flows, and line-side presentation systems.
  • Vendor management and strategic sourcing experience.
  • Strong data analysis and continuous improvement capabilities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain strategy and execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 3D CAD software (Creo preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Design material flows, picking routes, line-side presentation, and warehouse layouts.
  • Develop and implement packaging solutions (reusable and expendable).
  • Lead Kanban, replenishment, and inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Manage container, rack, and packaging fleets, including maintenance and capital planning.
  • Implement reverse logistics programs for returnable containers and racks.
  • Support NPI launches and production ramp-ups.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to design, source, and deploy packaging solutions.
  • Create and maintain packaging standards, work instructions, and best practices.
  • Analyze operational data and drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Partner with Production, Safety, Engineering, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
  • Participate in Kaizen events and Lean initiatives.
